C. Williamson, Ltd., rc Thursday, November 10. It is at present being played by nc fewer than ten different companies ii America and England, and in Austral* it created a profound sensation, breaking all known records in Sydney aw Melbourne. “Cradle Snatchers” will introduce t» New Zealand audiences a brilliaE company of English comedy stars, ib* eluding the famous London actit*. Miss Olive Sloane; Jessamine Nevcombe, Bertha Belmore, Herbert Bei* more, Maury Tickerman, John Halloran, Fred Coyngham and others. “If words mean anything,” wrote * Sydney critic, “some of the lines 40 frankly suggestive. But the hurncaw speed, the riotous hilarity, the abaurt situations, and the incongruity of tnr« elderly grass widows flirting with tnn* callow youths, young enough to «* their sons, rob the play of all o®®* siveness.” The box plans will opened at Lewis R. Eady and ©o Ltd., on Tuesday morning next.
