In the banking- section, Bank of Australasia stand with buyers at £l4 10s, sellers £l4 13s; Commercial Banks are firm, buyers 2Ss Sd, sellers 295; English, Scottish and Australian Banks are steadily improving, buyers appearing at £ 7 12s 6d, no sellers. Hill and Plummer shares are firm with buyers at 225, no sellers. Mining market is lifeless, and little business has been transacted; Waihis and Ohinemuri Gold and Silver shares have an easing tendency. Bonds and debentures are in better demand in most cases, and prices are well maintained. Sales Registered.
