DECISION TO ALTER NEW SOUTH WALES INDUSTRIAL ACT By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright Reed. 9.5 a.m. SYDNEY, To-day. The State Government, at a Cabinet meeting, decided to make a number of alterations in the Industrial Arbitration Act during the coming session. The powers of the Industrial Commissioner will be curtailed, and the parties before the commission will be given the right to appeal to another tribunal. Chairman of conciliation committees will be deprived of the right now allowed, of giving a casting vote. Parties will have the right to appeal from conciliation committees to the Industrial Commission.: —A. and N.Z.
