Butter and Cheese.—Further confirmation of the lifeless state of trade in London butter and cheese circles is contained in the following cable received by A. S. Paterson and Coy., Ltd., from their London principals, J. and J. Lonsdale and Coy., Ltd.: “The market is quiet and featureless; anticipate more inquiries for new goods. Butter, 172 s to 1745; cheese, 1025.”
