MUST PAY PENALTY
YOUTH SENT TO BORSTAL “This case presents some difficulty,” said Mr. Justice Reed when James Michael Boyle came before him for sentence this morning on a charge of carnal knowledge. The accused was just over 21 years, and the girl seemed to have been the consenting party. But whether she was wrong or whether the prisoner was at fault, lie would have to pay tjie penalty. He would be ordered to be detained at Waikeria for a period of three months.
