OTAHUHU TOURNAMENT A very successful nag 500 tour, nament” was held in the Parish Hall Otahuhu. on Thursday night. Th* proceeds are to be devoted to the icy stall at the forthcoming bazaar. Tht arrangements of the function were i* the hands of a very energetic ladies committee, convened by Mrs. G. MeDell. This was the first “flag tournar ment” held in connection with th* Otahuhu Holy Trinity Church, and i* is the wish of the promoters that thes% evenings should become more popular. The first prizes, which were donate* by Mrs. Nicholson, were won by Mr*. J. White, Mrs. Baxter. Mr. Timmins and the consolation prizes, donated by Mrs. French, were captured by Misse: Adams. Farrelly and Mr. Main prize. Mr. Ewen Harper was in charge of the play, and much of the success o * the function was due to his efforts. A dainty supper was served by th* ladies’ committee, which was in charg* of Mesdames Jameson and Wood.
