JOCKEYS INJURED

The rider of Wee Marble, E. S. Garrett, had his right collarbone broken through being thrown during the Totara Handicap Hurdles. He was taken to the Auckland Hospital by the St. John Ambulance. T. Chaplin, rider of Marita, which fell in the same race, was thought to have broken his shoulder-blade, but an X-ray examination proved this was not the case.
