COURT TAKES A HAND William Ilenry Glanville will not “hang around” the streets of Auckland for twelve months at least. Sentencing him on a charge of breaking, entering and theft to-day. Mr. Justice Reed said: “The act of breaking and entering was not a very serious one: but according to the police report you are developing into a waster and a loafer. You have been hanging around the streets, and you should be taught the discipline of a sane sort of work.” Tlie prisoner was sentenced to 12 months’ reformative detention.
