Mails to Kawhia. —The Postal Department has accepted a contract for a daily mail service betwen Te Awarnutu and Kawhia from January 1, 1928, according to an announcement at Te Awamutu. This again makes Te Awamutu the postal centre on the Main Trunk Railway for the Kawliia district. It is understood that the mails will be dispatched from Te Awamutu each morning and from Kawhia each evening.
