Miss Dugsdale, who recently arrived from England, is the guest of their Excellencies at Government House. Mrs. Alfred Nathan left by the Maheno yesterday on a visit to Sydney and will return in six weeks’ time with her daughter, Mrs. Nat Madison. Miss Nellie Gamman, of Epsom, has returned from a holiday spent in Rotorua and Tauranga. Mrs. W. Wood, of Napier, is staying with her mother, Mrs. E. C. Epsom. Miss Wallace, of Oriental Bay, Wellington, is on a visit to Auckland. Miss Jean Buckelton is at present staying with Miss Florence Cox, Epsom. Mrs. D. Harkness, of Auckland, is the guest of Mrs. W. C. Harley, Nelson. Miss Payne, of Wellington, is visiting Auckland. Miss M. Macdougall, of Auckland, is staying in Christchurch. Miss Ursula Williams, of Gisborne, is on a visit to Auckland. Mr. and Mrs. V. Hamilton, of Christchurch, are staying at the Grand Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. Colin Taylor and Misses Strachan, Buxton and Manning, of Hamilton, are at the Hotel Cargen. * * * Mr. and Mrs. R. Hannon, of Cambridge, are staying at the Star Hotel.
