VIOLIN RECITAL

MISS MARGARET STODDART Prior to her departure for South Africa, Miss Margaret Stoddart, the brilliant Auckland violinist, will give a recital in the Town Hall concert chamber next Tuesday evening. Miss Stoddart will be assisted by Miss Lalla Hemus, Mr. Barry Coney and Mr. Eric Waters. The programme will include “Concerto in E,” Bach, “Trio in D minor,” Arensky, and Credo,” Verdi. The booking is at Lewis R. Eady and Son, Ltd.

Dorothy Woods, well-known dramatic reader, who is a favourite with radio fans, has been added to the cast of First National’s “The Drop Kick,” the rollicking college story starring Richard Barthelmess.
