Five Italians Seriously Injured When Railway Station Blows Up
ATTEMPT AT MURDER ?

Reed. 10.10 a.m. PERTH, To-day. x N explosion which is believed to have been a deliberate A attempt at the murder of a number of Italians occurred at Morawa, on the northern railway line, 175 north of Northam. Five Italians out of fourteen were seriously injured. The Italians were in a shelter shed at the Morawa Railway Station. The explosive was either placed underneath the shed or thrown through a window. Railway property was considerably damaged and only prompt action by the citizens prevented the injured men from being burned [to death.—A. and N.Z'.
