WANGANUI STEEPLE

WON BY HORROCKS 200 BOYS COMPLETE RACE (Special to THE SUN.J WANGANUI, To-day. The Wangajiui Collegiate School’s steeplechase was held to-day in glorious weather, and was won by Horrocks, of Grey House, in 19 minutes 12 seconds. The distance was miles across country. Over 200 competitors faced the starter, and every competitor saw out the full distance. The winner led all the way and won by about 30yds. The other placed runners were: Rainbow, Harvey House, and Herrick, Selwyn House.
