FLAG BRIDGE EVENING AT HAMILTON
A delightful little flag bridge evening under the auspices of the Whitiora Croquet Club was given by Mesdames Newson and 11. Andrews at the Whitiora Bowling Club pavilion, Hamilton, last Wednesday. The pavilion presented a very gay scene with prettily arranged flowers and foliage, while the many beautiful frocks worn by the ladies added much to the brightness of tlio scene. A very dainty supper was provided and done full justice to. The hotesses wore charming frocks, Mrs. Newson wearing navy silk marocain inset with oyster shaded guipure lace, while Mrs. Andrews's frock was of petal blue floral crepe de chine with insets of saxe blue silk. Among those present were: Mrs. Burrow, president of the Whitiora Croquet Club; Mesdames Lowry, Higgott, Evans, Drube, Fenwick, Edwards, Somervell Henderson,Downs, Mitchell, Bennett, Roberts.
