GOLF CLUB DANCE
ROTORUA FUNCTION A DECIDED SUCCESS The Rotorua Golf Club’s annual dance was held in the Peerless Hall, Rotorua, on Monday evening, and was from every point of view a great success. About 60 couples were present, including a number of visitors to Rotorua, and spent a delightful evening in dancing to the cheery music provided by the “K. Boys” orchestra. The hall was very attractively decorated and during the evening the prizes won during the season were presented by Mrs. W. W. Hall, the wife of the president of the club. Among those present were: Mrs. La Trobe Hill, cyclamen frock of crepe de chine, inset with guipure lace. Mrs. Davys, rose pink crepe de chine, with effective silver beading. Mrs. Hay, frock of wine velvet with gold trimmings. Mrs. Wilkie, apricot crepe de chine frock, trimmed with silver. Mrs. R. C. Smith, frock of flesh pink crepe de chine. Miss Hall, cyclamen georgette with sil-ver-beaded design. Mrs. P. A. Kusabs, cream brocaded satin careau frock. Miss Campbell, frock of hyacinth blue taffeta, with overskirt of tulle. Mrs. T. Clarke, black panne velvet fi'ock. Mrs. Wallis, frock of jade green georgette. Mrs. Duncan, black floral georgette frock. Mrs. Roe, leaf-green satin frock, with lace panels. Miss McHardie, sea-green crepe de chine with sequins. Mrs. Topliss, sequined frock of lavender georgette. Miss Sinclair, pink crepe de chine with petal skirt. Miss G. Hurn, eau de nil georgett frock, with silver beading. Mrs. Hall, frock of black lace over moonlight blue satin. Mrs. Griffiths, black crepe de chine frock, with lace panels. Mrs. Bunyard, frock of brocaded satin in tones of henna and gold. Miss Murray, gown of black crepe elise inset with blue panels. Mrs. Banks, wine crepe de chine frock, with champagne georgette insets. Mrs. Robb, black crepe de chine, with blue and cream beading. Mrs. Peacock, nasturtium frock of satin, with cream lace panels.
