“WON’T DRIVE AGAIN FOR A FEW YEARS”
Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, To-day. David Evans, alias H. McKay, who was charged to-day with being drunk in charge of a motor-car, was sentenced to a month’s hard labour, his licence, cancelled, and prohibited from obtaining another for five years. The police said that this was accused's second offence of the kind. “You’re not going to drive again for a few years,” said Mr. E. D. Mosley, S.M.
