Maungakiekie Club The official closing of the Maungakiekie Golf Club’s season will take place at the Titirangi links to-morrow. foursomes will be played, competitors to choose partners and opponents. Titirangi Ladies Following are th€: results of the L.G.l*. match, played at Titirangi yesterday by members of the Titirangi Ladies’ Golf Club:— Seniors.—Mrs. Reid, 91, 18—73; Mrs. Taylor, 91, 17—74.. Juniors.—Miss O. Russell, 107, 34—73; Mrs. O’Leary. 98, 21—77. A flag match w f ill be played next Thursday. Morrinsvi'le Club (From Our Ovm Correspondent) MORRINSHLLE, Thursday. The Morrinsville Golf Club closed a successful season during the week, when nine-hole medal rounds were played. During the afternoon the president, Mr. T. J. Ryan, presented the trophies won during the season. The winners were:— Ladies.—Medal rounds: Miss Thomas. Miss Grimwade, Mrs. Jackson (2), bogey matches, Miss V. Brayshaw, Mrs. Ryan (2); flag match, Miss Grimwade; ladies’ golf union, silver medal and Mrs. J. r*. Allen’s cup, Miss Hewitt; L.G.U. bronze medal and Mrs. J. C. Allen’s cup. Miss Grimwade; captain’s point prize. Miss Mc-Naughton; ladies’ championship and Mrs. S. S. Allen’s cup, Mrs. Xoakes. Canadian tournament, Mrs. E. Jackson. Men.—Medal rounds, A. Mueller and Giles; bogey matches, Seifert, N. Noakes. and Ensor: flag matches. Mueller; foursome, Crabtree and T. J. Ryan; Cana - dian tournament, Ryan; “secret nine’’ medal, Mueller: senior championship. A. J. Mueller; jun or, X. Noakes. Rotorua Club (From Our Oicn Correspondent.) ROTORT’A. Thursday. The Rotorua Golf Club held a successful social and dance to terminate the season. It was the first occasion of Its kind in connection with the club. Advantage was taken of the gathering to present the prizes won during the season. Mr. A. V. P. Ford, was presented with a certificate of life membership in recognition of his many years of service as honorary secretary, the § resident n*»marking that the position the club now holds in New Zealand was largely dus to Mr. Ford’s untiring efforts.
