A NEW ZEALANDER

Miss Nellie M. Scanlan', who represented New Zealand newspapers at the 1921 armament conference at Washington, is now inaugurating a newspaper syndicate service with headquarters in London. So well was her work received by United States papers that she extended her stay there over two years, writing chiefly on Australasian and particularly New Zealand subjects. Then she crossed the Atlantic and stayed in Great Britain and Europe for another year before returning to New Zealand. On her present enterprise, though London will be her headquarters, she will probably travel extensively to secure first-hand information on matters of interest to New Zealand and Australia.
