CHEESE STRAWS

These are very tasty made with any rich pastry mixture. When making a tart, reserve a little of the dough for them, roll it thin, and sprinkle it generously with grated Parmesan cheese and a suspicion of red pepper; fold double and cut in strips. Sprinkle a little cheese on the tops and put in the oven till well baked.
