EPSOM LEAVES WESTPORT. Telegraphic advice states that the tramp steamer Epsom sailed from Westport at 11.40 a.m. to-day for Newcastle. MAHENO FOR SYDNEY.—The Union Company advises that the Maheno leaves Auckland at 11 a.m. to-morrow for Sydney, where she is due next Tuesday morning. TIROA PASSES THE CAPE.—Cabled news has been received by the Shaw. Savill and Alb-ion Company that the Tairoa passed the Cape of Good Hope at midnight last Thursday en route from London to Australian ports. CARGO FROM AUSTRALIA. —En route from South Australian ports, the local office of the Union Company has been advised that the cai'go steamer Kartigi is to leave Williamstown next Saturday for Auckland, New Plymouth, and Wellington. TOFU A AT SUVA.—Advice received by the Union Company states that the Island ; passenger steamer Tofua arrived at Suva yesterday and leaves at 4 o’clock this afternoon for Auckland, where she is due next Monday. WAIPAHI DUE TUESDAY. —The Union Company advises that the Island fruit steamer Waipahi, which left Rarotonga at noon on Monday last, is due here next Tuesday, and, after discharge at Auckland, proceeds to Suva to load for this port. K A WAT IRI ARRIVES TO-MORROW. —According to a radio message received by the Union Company, the collier Kawatiri is expected to arrive at Auckland to-morrow night from Newcastle. After discharge here, the vessel undergoes her annual overhaul and survey at this port. MESOPOTAMIA FOR NEWCASTLE. — Cable advice has been received by Spedding, Limited, to send the tramp steamer Mesopotamia, on completion of her discharge at Chelsea, to Newcastle for bunkers and orders. HINEMOA FROM NIUE ISLAND.— Spedding, Limited, have been advised that the Government steamer Hinernoa, now en route from Auckland to Niue Island and Samoa, is expected to returri here on November 20 and is to sail again on November 25 for Norfolk Island. KAPONGA SAILING.—The Union Company advises that the cargo steamer Kaponga, which was undocked this morning, leaves Auckland at 5 p.m. today for Greymouth, thence Bluff, to load for Melbourne and Adelaide. THE CANADIAN SCOTTISH. The Canadian Scottish left Dunedin last night for Wellington. She should arrive there to-morrow, and is scheduled to sail again the next day for Auckland. Arriving here on Monday, the-vessel is to complete loading and sails on Tuesday next for New York, Boston and Halifax. GISLA LEAVES MONTREAL.—CabIe advice has been received by the New Zealand Shipping Company advising that the Norwegian motor-ship Gisla left Montreal last Monday with cargo for discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Melbourne, and Sydney. The vessel is due at this port on November 6. MATAROA COMPLETING.—A. S. Paterson and Company advise that the Shaw, Savill, and Albion liner Mataroa will complete her loading at Auckland to-morrow evening. Passengers will embark to-morrow evening, and the vessel will sail at daybreak on Saturday for Southampton and London, via Panama. ROTORUA DUE TO-MORROW.—The local office of the New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the liner Rotorua arrives at Auckland to-morrow afternoon from Gisborne. The vessel loads here, and sails next Wednesday for Wellington, where she completes leading, and finally departs on November 10 for Southampton and London, via Panama. PORT DARWIN TO LOAD.—The Farmers’ Co-op. Auctioneering Company has been advised that the C. and D. Line’s steamer Port Darwin is due at Gisborne on November 10 from Australia to commence loading for Home. The vessel will later load at Auckland, thence Wellington and Napier. She is due here on November 14 and is scheduled to sail finally from Napier on November 25 for London. KIA ORA DELAYED.—L. D. Nathan and Company have been advised that the Shaw, Savill and Albion steamer Ivia Ora is now due at Auckland on November 7 and is scheduled to sail finally from here on November 10 for Halifax, London and West of England ports, via Panama. The vessel is at present en route from Bluff to Nelson. New Plymouth and Yuckland. NOBEL'S SAILING VESSEL..-Mr. E. C. Campbell advises that the auxiliary schooner Huia. now unloading Rockhampton coal at King’s Wharf, is to sail on Sunday morning for Hokianga to load timber for Brisbane. From Brisbane the vessel will go to Grafton to load Australian hardwood for discharge at Waikokopu and Auckland. The auxiliary schooner Piri left Wellington this morning for Dunedin to complete unloading explosives. At •Dunedin she will load produce for Auckland. The auxiliary ketch Miro is to leave Wellington for Auckland this morning. H.M.A.S. MELBOURNE.—It is Understood that the light cruiser H.M.A.S. Melbourne will leave for Great Britain about the end of the year, and that jshe will probably be broken up there, stStes the “Sydney Daily Telegraph.” If this course is not followed the crew of the cruiser will be paid off. and she will be placed in reserve. If the Melbourne i'eturns to Great Britain her crew will be used to assist*tn manning the two new cruisers which are at present being completed there for the Royal Australian Navy. The Acting-Secretary to the Naval Board recently stated that the Melbourne could not be broken up in Australia, principally because there was no market there for “scrap.” The cruiser bad reached the end of her really effective life. She bad been launched in 1912. and had arrived in Australia in March, 1913. Wellington.—Maori, Wahine, Arahura, Xgaio. Tamahine, Niagara, Tutanekai, Manuka, Tahiti, Pakeha, Rotorua, Hauraki, Kairanga, Canadian Scottish, Omana, Atholl. Awarua.—Makura, Waikouaiti, Sir J. C. Ross, C. A. Larsen, Kia Ora. PORT OF ONEHUNGA—ARRIVAL YESTERDAY HATURU (11.30 p.m.), 290 tons, Donovan, from Hokianga. ARRIVALS TO-DAY TITOKI (6.30 a.m.). 750 tons, Hayes, from Dargaville. XGAPUHI (7 a.m.), 703 tons. Bark, from New Plymouth, The Anchor steamer Titoki arrived at Onehunga this morning from Dargaville Sho loads to-day, and sails to-morro.v morning for Picton. Nelson and West Coast ports. The Ngapuhi arrived at Onehunga this i morning from New Plymouth. She is to be dispatched at 3 p.m. to-day for the ' same i*t>rt. The Hauturu, which reached Onehunga i late last evening from Hokianga, sails at ! 4 p.m. to-day for Raglan, Kawhi.i and p Port Waikato. The Arapawa is due this afternoon from ! T\ anganui.
