“RISKY BUSINESS” A sweet beautiful love story that carries with it a full complement of comedy and pathos, thrills and tense drama has been brought to the screen in “Risky Business,” Vera Reynold’s latest starring production, which will have its final screening at the Empire Theatre this evening. In this picture, Miss Reynolds portrays a sweet but pampered rich girl, Cecily, who becomes engaged to a struggling young country doctor. Her mother, who in reality faces financial ruin as a result of a game struggle j to “keep up appearances” and to j marry her daughter to a wealthy suitor, plots to break up the match. The comedy, tense drama and pathos that follow contrasting flashes, combine to make solid, unadulterated entertainment. ‘'Mare Nostrum.” adapted from Blasco Ibanez’s famous novel, and - featuring Alice Terry and Antonio j Moreno, will‘also be screened.
