TEMPERAMENT

Frenzied at being disturbed by the talking of a woman singer off duty to a friend during an opera performance at Budapest, Eugene Kalmar, musical composer, fought with an official who went to reprove him for offending the singer. A panic in the theatre resulted. Kalmar and the official struggled wildly and a dozen women fainted after the official’s arm had been bitten until blood flowed. Kalmar was removed with difficulty from the theatre, howling, while many persons were hurt in the scuffle -and resulting crash.
