GARAGE BROKEN INTO

THIEVES TAKE TYRES AND BATTERIES LOSS TOTALS £3O When thieves broke into the garage of Pollard and Lamb on Tuesday night they even stole the electric kettle with which the employees boiled the water for lunch. TN addition goods valued at £3O were taken, including three or four tyres, several tubes and repair outfits, two electric torches and 15 or 20 batteries. Men were working at the garage until 10 o’clock on Monday night, but at 7.30 on Tuesday morning it was discovered that thieves had visited the premises. The British Associated Oil Company’s premises next door were also broken into and drawers turned out, but nothing was taken. The buildings are situated at the intersection of Park Road and Park Avenue.
