Murchison Oil Company.—The latest report from the Murchison Oil Company’s bore reads as follows: “Depth of hole 3,365 feet in sandstone and mudstone formation, with layers of fine sand. Hole dry and strata standing up well for drilling."
Companies Registered. —Yesterday one private company was registered in Auckland. Details are: Lovell and Silich Theatres, Lirhited. Objects: To carry on the business of theatre proprietors, etc. Capital, £2,000, divided into 2,000 £1 shares. Subscribers, Fitzroy Lovell and Nicholas Silich, 1,000 shares each.
