Remember the 4th of November. This is the day on which the Street Collection will be made for the maintenance of the St. John District Nursing and Ambulance Transport Services. The District Nurses visit the sick poor in their homes and do everything pos-i sible to restore them to health, or, if that cannot be done, to alleviate their sufferings. The Transport Officers are always ready, at any hour of the day or night, to respond to any call made on behalf of the sick or injured, to remove them to the hospital or their homes in one of the up-to-date ambulances, which have been specially built, with all modern appliances to ensure the comfort of patients. To maintain these splendid services and procure another Ambulance, which is urgently required, the sum of £2,000 is needed. Please send a donation to the Honorary Secretary. Ambulance Station. Rutland Street, or contribute t the Street Collection on Friday, Nol vember 4.—21.
