“SUNNY ITALY”
DRILL HALL ATTRACTION All this week “Sunny Italy" will be presented, afternoon and evening, at the Drill Hall, Rutland Street. This bright entertainment in aid of the Community Club, Freeman’s Bay, combines the virtues of pageant and musical comedy. There is also special “jazzing” to the music of a full orchestra. Cooking’ demonstrations are held each afternoon and evening. “Sunny Italy” opens at 2.30 p.m. and continues until 10.30 p.m. each da>.
“Rose Marie,” the screen adaptation of the famous musical comedy, is being filmed entirely in technicolour. Renee Adoree and Ralph Forbes have the leading roles, and the supporting cast includes Harry Carey. Roy D’A.rcy, Frank Currier. Princess Neola and Lloyd Hamilton.
