LATE MR. C. A. LEE
WELL-KNOWN BUILDER A well-known Auckland builder and contractor Mr. Cecil Alexander Lee. died at his home. Mount Eden, on Monday, at the age of 44 Educated partly in Auckland and partly in Victoria. Mr Lee early in his career passed an examination qualifying him to practise as an architect, but he preferred to engW tothe bjaijinc trade. He was associated with his father Mr. A. G. Lee. for several years, but 2 ' "vears ago he commenced the business', which grew until the time of his death. Mr. Lee was one of the Principal contractors in Auckland. 1 several large buildings in the city were built by Mr. I.ee. and those at present under construction include the seven-storey building in Queen Street for Lewis K. Eady and Son. Ltd., and the addition to the Wellesley street Post Office. , . He lias been president of tne Auckland Builders’ Union, and was a member of the Auckland Automobile Association. Auckland Savage Club, and the Mount Eden Bowling Club. Mr. I.ee is survived by his wife ana Uirce children.
