ATTACKED BY DOG

LITTLE GIRL BWTEN ON THROAT AND FACE A little girl of sevea years was savagely attacked by a dog on Monday afternoon. She was playing in the street with some companions of her own age when the dog jumped at her and bit her throat and face. The victim of the attack was Daphne BainbricTge, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. Bainbridge, of 16 Windmill Road, Mount Eden. She is still suffering from shoe*. There seems to be no reason for the attack, except that the dog was savage. A doctor was called and he dressed the little girl’s wounds. Fortunately she will not be marked permanently, though it will be some time before the marks of the bites disappear. It is thought that the dog will be destroyed.
