her residence in the home of her son, Mr. F. G. Massey, at Epsom, while he and Mrs. Massey are spending a long vacation at Milford.
Mrs. C. Ballantyne, of Remuera, has left on a visit to Dannevirke.
Mrs. H. Dryden is leaving on Friday >n a visit to Wellington.
Miss Constance Russell is in Wanganui where she is the guest of Mrs. J. Wells.
Miss J. Knight is an Auckland visitor to Marton.
Miss Audrey Walton has returned to Auckland after a holiday trip to Wellington and Wanganui.
Miss M. Ford returned to Auckland yesterday after a visit to Timaru. * * % Mrs. D. W. Dunlop, of Epsom, is spending a few weeks at Nihotapu.
Miss Betty Cotterill, who has been visiting Auckland, Palmerston North and Heretaunga, has l’eturned to Christchurch.
Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Martin have returned to their home at Remuera after having spent a month’s holiday at Okoroire.
Miss Reeves and Miss Nora Reeves, of Kawau, left Auckland yesterday on a motor tour of the North Island.
Mrs. V. R. Meredith, who has been visiting Mrs. J. Matthews, Otorohanga, has returned to Auckland.
Mrs. Bowman, Christchurch, and her daughter, Mrs. Finer, of Dunedin, are spending an extended holiday in Auckland, where they are the guests of Mrs. B. Body.
“Miss New Zealand. 1927,” (Miss Dale Austen), who has been staying at the Hotel Gargen, left for Wellington by last night’s express. •T. * * Mrs. Hodges, of Te Puke, is spending a few days in town and is at the Commercial Hotel.
Mrs. L. Foster is a Wellington visitor to Auckland, and is at the Commercial Hotel.
Mrs. S. Stanmore, of Sydney, is visiting Auckland and is staying at the Commercial Hotel.
Mrs. H. R. Burrett returned to town yesterday after a visit to Cambridge. • * * Mrs. Howard Meek of Huntly, returns home to-day after spending a short holiday with her mother, Mrs. Rasmussen, at Asquith Avenue, Mount Albert.

Guests at the Royal Hotel include Mr., Mrs. and Miss Gardiner, of Oio.
