He was scratched for the Melbourne Cup and all his engagements at the V.R.C. meeting at 11.30 a.m. to-day. LATEST WITHDRAWALS The following additional scrtachings were posted to-day:—Melbourne Cup: Bombard, Valwyne, Sc. Lazar, Baringhup. The Hawk, Medmenbam, Ragazze, Coin and Nut. Derby: Faloroi and Ragazze. G. Young has arrived to ride Pilliewinkie in the Melbourne Cup. H. Bastian will ride Beedos in that race. W. Duncan is to ride Silviua in the Melbourne Cup. The following have been scrathed for the Cantala Stakes: —Gothic, Tullius, Beedos and Ragazze. NEW ZEALANDERS ENGAGED New Zealand horses still in the Menbourne Cup are:—Pilliewinkie, Satrap, Rawhetu, and Merry Mint. Fujisan. Prepostercr, and Lilah will reach Melbourne on Tuesday. Fujisan Is a candidate for the Cantala Stakes. AMOUNIS SCRATCHED Amounts has been scratched for the Melbourne Cup.—A. and N.Z.
