MAIL BY THE TONINWARD AND OUTWARD

'T’ONS and tons of mail are being sorted at the Auckland General Post Office to-day. Yesterday the Aorangi arrived with a big cargo of mail from England and Australia. This morning the Tahiti’s consignment arrived from Wellington. At noon the Maheno arrived from Sydney with still more mail, and the Marama’s mails will arrive to-morrow from Wellington.

The outward mails are also being sorted to catch the Aorangi this afternoon, and a large quantity of direct mail will leave by the Mataroa on Friday. With the approach of Christmas business in the mail department of the Post Office is gradually becoming heavier. The last mail to reach England by Christmas will leave Auckland on November 22.
