DODGE SIX-CYLINDER

MODELS NOW IN AUCKLAND The motoring - public in Auckland ! have long been anticipating the ar- j rival of the new six-cylinder Dodge car—the Dodge Senior, as it is called. Interest has been aroused in this j car because it is the first entrance of j the Dodge Company into the sixcylinder field. Complete specifications and a photo of the car were published in the SUN “Motordom” pages on August 16 last, but the car itself has just arrived. “Headlight” enjoyed a run in the car last week and found what he expected from the advance information, i.e., that the car fulfils the established Dodge practice of solid build and workmanship. In that respect it is a true Dodge, but in many other ways it is a new car. In appearance, comfort and general design it is luxurious. It rides beautifully with scarcely a sound from the engine, and is the last word in comfortable travelling. The engine, as has been described, has been entirely re-designed, and the chassis embodies many new features making for smooth riding. ‘‘Headlight” ran in the car up some of the steepest hills and over some of the roughest roads round Auckland, riding all the time in quietness and luxurious comfort. The new “Dodge Senior” sets a new standard in the well-known Dodge line.
