COASTAL MOVEMENTS— The Waimea, sailing at 4 o’clock this afternoon for Gisborne and Napier, returns to Auckland on Sunday. The Kaituna leaves here at noon tomorrow for Greymouth, where she loads again for this port. The Katoa, from Southern ports, arrived at Auckland this morning and berthed at the Prince’s Wharf. She leaves here to-morrow at 5 p.m. for Portland to load cement for Wellington and; Lyttelton. The Ramona is still bar-bound at Greymouth, but it Is expected she will be able to clear there to-day for Auckland. The Kaimanawa. which is loading: at Westport to-day for Auckland, should ; arrive here about Saturday next. The Kaitansrata is at present loading ■ at Greymouth for Napier and Auckland and should arrive here early next week. The Kurow, from Port Craig:, Bluff and i Dunedin, leaves Wellington this afternoon for Auckland and arrives here on Friday . i After discharge at this port the vessel proceeds direct to the Bluff. 1 The Gunbar is slipping to-day for her .annual overhaul and survey. She is exj pected to complete next week, when she will leave for bays, Gisborne and Napier | about November 3. The Richardson steamer Mako is at Portland loading cement for Auckland. She is due to arrive here this evening and berths at King’s Wharf. At three o’clock to-morrow afternoon she is to be dispatched for Bast Coast bays (including Tolaga Bay), Napier and Wairoa. The Awahou is loading at King’s Wharf. At five o’clock this evening she is to be dispatched for Tokomarp Bay, Hicks Bay and Gisborne. The Gisborne Sheepfarraers’ steamer Tiroa sails at five o’clock this evening for Hicks Bay and Gisborne. The Portland is to bo dispatched this evening for Whakatane. The Hauiti, which left. shortly before noon to-day for Coromandel and Colville, returns again at 12.30 p.m. to-morrow. The Apanui sailed this morning for Totara North and Mercury Bay. She is due back again on Thursday morning. The Waipu sailed to-day for Kerepeehi. She arrives back again at 1 p.m. tomorrow. The Taniwha, sailing at 10.30 p.m. today for Paeroa, returns again at 3.30 a.m. on Thursday. The Clansman leaves at five o’clock this afternoon for Russell, Opua and Whangaroa. She is due back on Saturday morning. The Claymore, to be dispatched at nine o’clock to-night for Whangarei, returns on Thursday morning. The Motu is to be dispatched at 4 p.m. to-day for Whakatane. The Otimai leaves at 4 this afternoon for Kutarere and Opotiki. The Rangitoto, arriving from Thames early this afternoon, sails again at 2.30 p.m. to-morrow on the return trip. The Hikurangi Coal Company’s collier Glenelg, after being laid up since April 21, sails this evening for Onerahi to load coal for Auckland. The company’s other I vessel, Hikurangi, is to go on slip for her . annual overhaul and survey.
