ANGLICAN SYNOD

REPRESENTATIVES ELECTED The second session of the 25th Auckland Diocesan Synod was continued yesterday. The following were elected to represent the diocese at the General Synod: Archdeacons G. Mac Murray, H. A. Hawkins and W. J. Simkin, Messrs. C. J. Tunks, A. B. Roberton, J. Hogben and Norman Burton. Standing committee for the ensuing year was elected as follows: —Archdeacon H. A. Hawkins, Canon Grant Cowen, Revs. G. Gordon Bell, P. S. Smallfield, R. H. Hobday, R. G. Coats and J. Stanton, Messrs. C. J. Tunks, Norman Burton, J. Hogben, J. B. Lusk, F. H. Leonard, H. C. Robinson, H. Gilfillan, H. O. Searle and N. T. Williams. The conference of the clergy will be held this morning. Synod will sit in the afternoon and evening.
