HIS MAJESTY’S
“MEASURE FOR MEASURE” The second and final presentation of “Measure for Measure” by the Allan Wilkie Shakespearean Company was given before a large attendance last night. The company gave a truly excellent interpretation of this striking drama. To-night “Macbeth” will be staged, there being only one performance. As Macbeth, Mr. Allan Wilkie will be playing a. favoured role, while Miss Hunter-Watts as Lady Macbeth can be relied on for a sterling performance. Miss Lorna Forbes will appear as Lady Macduff and Mr. John Cairns as Macduff. “As You Like It” will be staged to-morrow for the last matinee performance and the powerful Roman tragedy, “Julius Caesar,” will be produced in the evening. On Thursday “Romeo and Juliet” will be revived, and the • season will be concluded on Friday evening with a farewell performance of “Plamlet.”
