Responding to the welcome to the New Zealand cricketers by the South Australian Cricket Association, the captain, T. C. Lowry, said that in England the team had much good luck, and much. bad luck. It lacked a spin bowler. His impression throughout England was that the majority of the batsmen did not like spin bowling. There were not many good bow-lers in England. He paid tribute to Tate and Larwood.—A. and N.Z.
