Alda's Farewell

MADAME FRANCES ALDA’S farewell to New Zealand is the same as Tosti’s song, “Good-bye For Ever”

“No, I shall never come back to New Zealand,” she said this morning “Never. I love the country and the people have been most awfully kind to me. but no,” she shook her head, “I shall never come back.”

Madame has been spending a holiday at Rotorua and returned to Auckland yesterday. She will sail for America by the Aorangl tomorrow and will give a concert at Honolulu.

Madame has lots to say about many things, but she prefers not to say anything until she returns to New York.
