HELP FOR THE HELPERS

ST. JOHN AMBULANCE APPEAL

Every sportsman realises the debt he owes to the St. John Ambulance Brigade. The opportunity of giving a practical illustration of gratitude will be had on Friday, November 4, when a street collection will be made.

Many women, under the presidency of Mrs. Campbell, Mayoress of Auckland, are making arrangements for the appeal, the objective being the sum of £2.000 for the maintenance of the district and ambulance transport services.

Donations are accepted by the honorary secretary, Mr. William Rattray, ambulance station, Rutland Street.
