EDENDALE CINEMA
SPECIAL PROGRAMME
Johnny Hines comes to the Edendale Theatre to-night in “'The Brown Derby,” a First National picture. Having lived and been brought up in a small town where a boy is free to play, Johnny has managed to instill in his comedies the many spontaneous tricks that the average kid is usually up to. He -plays just the sort of pranks any average boy would play on his teacher, at a party or on his boss. He has surrounded himself in “The Brown Derby” with such star performers as Diana Kane, Ruth Dwyer, Bradley Barker, Harold Foshay and a host of others who are known for the excellence of their screen characterisations. A gripping mystery picture of exceptional dramatic power and filled with remarkable situations, make “Three Faces Hast,” featuring Jetta Goudal, Robert Ames, Henry B. Walthall and Clive Brook, which will also be screened to-night, one of the wonder pictures of the year.
