Injured on Road Works. —A fall cf earth on road works in the Kaimai Hills resulted in John McGregor, aged 20, being admitted into the Waikato Hospital on Saturday evening with a broken left leg. McGregor’s parents live at 47 George Street, Newmarket. As a preventive of colds, workers in Japanese rice fields wear stockings of human hair. Hotels in England and Wales have decreased by nearly 20,000 in the last 22 years.
