DODGE BALL

You must have a big ball —a football is best. Make a big chalk circle. Divide the players into three sets. One set must keep inside the circle, and the rest stand round it. The players in the circle throw the football at the outside ones, and they throw it back and try to hit someone inside the circle. If they do hit a player inside, he has to go outside and help- This goes on until there is only one player left inside the circle. The ball is thrown by each player in turn, and if a thrower hits a player inside the circle he is called a winner. And at the end of the game all the winners play against each other to see who is best.
