FROM A LETTER
A quail came into our garden yesterday. I thought he looked funny Avith a topnot on his head. Love from David Collingwood, Wanganui (aged 7).
A small boy wanted to use his penknife, but after searching in all his pockets, he said with a sigh: “Oh. dear, I must have lost it. I wish I had another pocket—it might be in that one.” —Sent in by Kathleen Ricketts,
