r T , jfif.7i7 next production by the A.uckland T-j it tic Theatre Society will be Bernard Shaw’s “Pygmalion/* at the Concert Chaynber on Decenuher 7, S and 0. “Pygmalion” is the play with the lurid curtain and which created somethin') of a. noise when it was first done in London. Mrs. Batrich Campbell played the lead on that occasion, and used the sanguinary adjective with great effect. Mr. Kenneth Brampton , producer for the. society , has received a letter from Lord Dunsany granting the society permission to perform most of his plays. Next year’s season will most probably begin with a performance of Dunsany’s “If.”
