CORKSCREW STLYE FOR WOMEN’S HAIR
REVIVAL OF THE OLD RINGLETS FASHION There is a distinct tendency at the moment for women who are endeavouring to display some individuality in their style of hairdressing to revive ringlets. Ringleted heads cannot at present compete in numbers with shingled and Eton-cropped women; nevertheless, it is almost impossible now to attend any sort of social gathering without finding at least one woman wearing ringlets in one form or another, and among all ringleted coiffures the corkscrew style stands out for special attention. This consists of a triple display of ringlets. There is a little bunch of ringlets corkscrewed into position high up on the back of the head and a set of smaller ringlets hangs down on the cheeks at either side. It is not a fashion which can be exploited successfully by the woman whose hair is bobbed or shingled, but it is very useful for the between stages to the woman who is letting her hair grow long again.
