A BRIGHT DANCE AT THE CLICK CLACK
Miss Johnson's dancing pupils held a very successful little dance at the Click Clack Cabaret last evening to mark the close of their classes for this season. The cabaret was effectively decorated and formed a pretty setting for the throng of gay young people who were present with their parents and friends. During the evening Miss Johnson was presented with an attractive bouquet by two of the girls, the Misses Irene Isaacs and Margaret Lee. Miss Johnson wore an effective frock of gendarme blue panne velvet inset with panels of silver tissue. Among those present were: Miss Birch, whose frock was of opal blue eharmeuse panelled with silver lace. Miss Iris Scantlebury, frock of iris and primrose taffetas. Miss Joy Butcher, rose pink frock of taffetas. Miss Margaret Lee, wild rose frock of taffetas and silver tissue. Miss Winnie Alexander, georgette frock of spring green shade. Miss Barbara Thorne George, shot taffeta frock of gold and lavender shades. Miss Joy Moody, Nile green taffetas frock. Miss Nancy Northcroft, wistaria mauve georgette frock. Miss Mary Cruickshank, rose pink taffetas frock. Miss Biddy Mason, rose du Barri georgette frock. Miss Sheila Otway, frock of shell pink georgette with petalled hem. Miss Pauline McConnell, ivory taffetas frock. Miss Dorothy Low, frock of Pompeian rose georgette. Miss Irene Isaacs, rose pink taffetas frock banded with pink tulle. Miss Dorothy Matthews, frock of rose brocaded crepe de chine. Miss Margaret Kinder, sequined frock of geranium pink georgette. Miss Nancy Anderson, frock of apple green crepe de chine. Miss Ronnie Matthews, rose pink frock of crepe de chine. Miss Beryl Murray, frock of pale nasturtium taffetas. Miss Moreen McMahon, delphinium blue taffetas frock.
