“RAMONA”

STARRING DOLORES DEL RIO Work has already begun on the first starring vehicle of the beautiful Mexican brunette, Dolores del Rio. The title of the picture is “Ramona,” and is being produced by Edwin Carewe, who no doubt was influenced by Miss del Rio’s unforgettable work in “Resurrection.” In the latter production, which, like “Ramona,” is for United Artists’ release, Dolores appears in support of Rod la Rocque. Those whose pleasure is has been to witness the big Tolstoy classic will not be surprised at Carewe conferring the honour on Miss del Rio, whose advent in “Ramona” will be eagerly awaited by her thousands of admirers.
