GRANTS FOR EDUCATION
PUBLIC WORKS ALLOCATIONS (TIIE SUN'S Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, To-day. The total of the grant for buildings for educational purposes this year is £350,000. Last year the figure was the same, but the expenditure was £550,941. The grants of £ 50,000 for technical schools, and £IO,OOO for schools for the feeble-minded, are the only instances in which increases on last year’s expenditure are to be noted.
