Bavin's new Cabinet, a request for further financial assistance was declined in view- of the risk attending the flight. Premier Bavin said that on reports made to him regarding this matter, he was satisfied that the flight, on its present lines could not be proceeded with.—A. and N.Z. hop off for Sydney on November 3. weather permitting. regardless of Premier Bavin’s recommendations for the abandonment of the flight.
