Weel Known Boxer Fatally Shot
■piLLY CHAMBERS, the wellAustralian . boxer,died in a Sydney hospital a fortnight ago as a result of having been shot in the stomach a few days earlier. A young woman has been arrested and charged with having shot Chambers, though he said it wks accidental. Chambers, whose real name was Edward Anthony Waldver, was well known in New Zealand. He fought several fights hire last year, including one at the Auckland Town Hall, in which he secured a decision over Charlie Purdy.
