HOUSES STRIPPED OF FURNISHINGS
CHRISTCHURCH THIEVES BUSY (.Special to THE SUN.) CHRISTCHURCH, To-day. WITHIN the past few weeks a nu of suburban residences in Christchurch have been broken into during the absence of their occupants, and furniture and furnishings stolen in a daring manner. The stolen property consists mostly of carpets, bedding and various other articles which could have been removed easily in a motor-car, but in some cases houses have been practically stripped of everything except havy pieces of furniture.
